Rachel Melson, DNP, FNP-C currently serves the Director of the Outreach Clinic at Swope Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Kansas City. In her role, Dr. Melson leads Swope’s Healthcare for the Homeless program and their Hepatitis C Program. Swope’s Outreach Clinic provides medical care for all persons experiencing various levels of homelessness including those staying in transitional living facilities, traditional shelters, and half-way houses in the Kansas City area. She also served on the state committees that drafted Missouri’s Hepatitis C Elimination Plan.
