Dr. Adrienne Simmons is a pharmacist and advocate from rural southwestern Virginia. Following the completion of her Doctor of Pharmacy at VCU School of Pharmacy, she completed two years of residency training at UNC Medical Center where she gained clinical and administrative experience in hepatology, HIV, medication access, and 340B. She has experience in federal and state legislative advocacy and has served on national policy committees for the American Pharmacists Association and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Adrienne is passionate about amplifying the voices of marginalized communities and improving the lives of those impacted by viral hepatitis.
