David Urick is a 33-year-old chronic hepatitis B patient living in Michigan. He discovered patient advocacy with the help of the Hepatitis B Foundation after receiving a liver biopsy and being prescribed hep B medication by his team of doctors in early 2019. David has provided a voice for patients like himself and is determined to continue being a potential source of support for patients that feel alone like he did when diagnosed at the age of 13. His hep B advocacy began with him traveling to California to meet other hep B patients and create a #justb video, sharing his story with the world.
