From the Urban Survivor’s Union: Through our efforts and in collaboration with The People’s Harm Reduction Alliance and Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition, we have worked tirelessly to get beyond testing for HCV. We have focused on getting our people CURED. Through this project we are continuing to fight for the rights of PWUD and change the narrative around HCV. As we see syringe service programs fighting for survival against dangerous legislation, PWUD suffering needlessly and preventable deaths from infections soaring, refocusing our response is IMPERATIVE.
