Election Day is fast approaching. In addition to the Presidential election, all seats in the House of Representative and 1/3 of the U.S. Senate are on the ballot. This means that candidates throughout the country are making public appearances and paying attention to what voters have to say. It is a great opportunity to talk with them about viral hepatitis and ask them to support increased funding and a strong federal response to the hepatitis B and C epidemics. Join us for this important webinar as we discuss what NVHR is doing to educate all candidates about key viral hepatitis policy issues, what non-profits can and can’t do around election activities, and how we can build from these activities to strengthen our grassroots voice in 2013.

Speakers include:

Martha Saly, Director of NVHR
Ryan Clary, Director of Programs, NVHR
Lorren Sandt, Executive Director of Hepatitis C Caring Ambassadors and NVHR Steering Committee member
Heather Lusk, Executive Director of the CHOW Project (Hawaii) and Chair of the NVHR Membership Committee
